I am the grandmother of beautiful 6 year old twin girls.
One of the girls started with a cold and ended up with a cough which lasted for weeks that ended in a constant clearing of her throat.
(Dennis note: From a 1694 medical journal HERE. Basically, what it says is "habitual cough, which often continues after the first Cough, which was caused by the Cold, is gone," - This is also very similar to Dr. Weinberger's modern diagnosis of Habit Cough. The only thing missing was "... absence of cough when the child was sleeping." Dr. Weinberger nailed this part for an perfect diagnosis criteria - then he perfected a drug free cure "by proxy".)
She never complained but we knew she was miserable as it went on all day. It was truly uncomfortable at school as her teacher and classmates were well aware.

(Dr. Weinberger likes 8/10/12 oz. bottles with the cap off.) Provide enough so that you do not have to interrupt the child, like I had to do, after Bethany ran out of water. Fortunately, I did not break her concentration during the session.)
Watching the young girl in the video (Bethany), was like seeing the agony that my granddaughter was going through.

She was allowed to have water with her at all times in her school. (Note: Dr. Weinberger suggested this for Bethany. She actually had 2 bottles of water; one with her, and one in her locker. The teachers were VERY accepting of this.)

I also shared this with the Allergist that thought that my Granddaughter might have a habit rather than a 'disease'.
We thought, "IMPOSSIBLE!"

I was told by my daughter who shared the background of the YouTube with the family, that my granddaughter actually hid and covered her face until she realized that what Bethany was doing ~ she was doing too. She then watched, glued to the screen.
My Granddaughter initially got sick with a cold that turned into a cough. Meds, nebulizer treatments and low dose steroids were given to her.
Even the Pediatrician felt after the cough lingered, that it was becoming a habit.
None however shared what should be done to break this horrific habit as Dr. Weinberger did!
She had the cough for 3 months which seemed to all of us like forever! (Bethany coughed 500,000 times in 3 months! - Dennis)
