Dr. Weinberger told us and the other parents that after so much coughing, the throat needs a while to heal.
For us (as noted in Bethany's YouTube video HERE) her cough count went from 5,000/day to 200 or so the next day and soon down to 100 then 50 and after 20 it was gone.
With some gentle reminders and motivational support from parents and siblings, we declared Bethany "cough free" on March 15, 2019, (mommy's birthday gift). I hear ALL the time, "...
