I just wanted to send you an email to thank you so much for the video you made and put on YouTube. My daughter, XXXXXX, has had a cough for four months now.
Our story sounds much like yours, we have been to seven or eight doctors appointments, seen multiple specialists, including ENT, Allergy, Immunology, and pulmonology. None were able to help her with the cough.
She has been prescribed pretty much every medicine they could throw at her, antibiotics, steroids, and nebulizer treatments.
None of that worked. I began suffering from anxiety myself, due to her cough. I felt like I was helpless and unable to help my child.
I was waiting for my running partner last Sunday, and sat on a bench, searching for answers through Google, like I have been doing for four months.
I came across your YouTube video, and I could not believe what I was watching. I felt like I was watching my own daughter. I immediately began crying.
I followed that video to your page, Habitcough.com, and sent an email to Dr. Miles Weinberger.
Within 15 minutes, he emailed me back with his phone number and told us to call him. I called him immediately.
I can‘t explain how excited we were to speak with him. He sent us the links to several of his articles and the full length video.
I had XXXXXX watch it this past Monday morning, and it was crazy how fast she was able to stop coughing.
She only coughed a few times after watching the video on Monday.
On Tuesday, she coughed a little bit more, but it was still very much improved over the last four months.
She has been able to control it pretty good until today.
We messaged Dr. Weinberger through Skype this evening, and he was able to give her some more strategies to use during the school day.
I can’t thank you enough for the video you posted, and sharing your story. I only wish I had found it sooner!
I hope that within the next few weeks, my daughter is able to finally rid herself of this nasty cough for good.
