Diagnosis for Acute and Chronic Habit Cough

The repetitive barking cough that is not present once the patient is asleep is the diagnostic criteria.

The characteristics of the self-perpetuating Habit Cough is its repetitiveness and absence once asleep.

Once the patient meets the diagnostic criteria for Habit Cough, even while the repetitive cough is still considered acute (less than 4 weeks), treatment with suggestion therapy is appropriate.

There is no need to wait until the cough is considered to be chronic (4 weeks/ child & 8 weeks/adult)

Multiple patients report that knowledge of The Weinberger Procedure allows them to stop their future coughs during the acute period once diagnosis of Habit Cough has been met.

Translator Instructions

** The fastest and easiest way to contribute is to use your the phone's video camera. Just place it close to your mouth (4 - 8 inches) and record a video. We will strip the audio from your file and use it for our translation. **

     Preparation

1. You will need a laptop or PC (Mac or Windows) with an internet connection. You will also need earphones to listen to the YouTube videos your computer.

2. You will need an iPhone or Android cellphone with email connection. You will use your cellphone Voice Recording or Video Recording app to record your translation and to email the files to me. (You can use your PC if you wish.)

3. Navigate to our YouTube videos on your PC.

Note: You will need to speak all the way through each video in a single take since I will not understand your translated language. I will not be able to edit your file. I can only assign it to the videos.

4. You will be listening to the videos in your earbuds on your PC and then translate into your language by speaking into your cellphone as an audio recorder. OR You may read and translate from the therapy session script HERE. Reviewing and reading from a script will help you to adjust the structure from English to your translated language structure. You will want to review Dr. Weinberger's video to understand the flow and cadence of the therapy session.

     Recording your translation.

1. Be in a quiet environment. Turn off all cellphones and alarms because I will note be able to edit these out.

2. Ensure that your audio recorder is set to 44100 Hz or "Highest". There are many free audio recording apps. Most cellphones come with one.

Note: Ensure that there is not a 5, 10, or 15 minute cutoff of recording time as your Session File will need to be almost 36 minutes long.

3. Relax. Speak as if you are speaking with knowledge to your patient. You might review the video ahead of time to understand Dr. Weinberger's intentions and intonations.

4. Please "clap" your hands once and then begin to translate. This audio "spike" will provide me with an edit "mark". I will delete everything before the clap. Thanks.

5: You MUST include the following at the audio end of your translation of the Session video:

"This video, audio content and other associated media is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness or disease in any way. Please consult your doctor or trusted medical professional. Thank you."

     Completion

When completed, you may post your file to Dropbox, Google Drive or any other cloud location and email the link to HabitCough@Gmail.com. You may include any instructions or contact info spoken in English in the beginning of the file before the translation. Thanks. You may remain anonymous if you wish. Thank you.

Important production and editing note: You might want to check with me to see if we have any translations in progress. I wouldn't want you to expend precious time and energy if I already have a submission in your language.

Great! Now, for YEARS and YEARS, your voice will be able to help doctors, adults and children from your home country or wherever they speak you language.

Ensure that you include your name, language that the session is translated into, and or specific dialect, your website or contact link and other information so that I might think you for it in the translation notes on YouTube. This may be included in English in the beginning of your video prior to when you begin your translation.

We make no money from this website. It is a labor of love for the suffering children, adults and families around the world. You should have no expectation to receive any compensation from me for your voluntary participation. Your submission is a full release of any copyright claims in perpetuity in any country in the world.

Dr. Weinberger and the world will thank you, and so will I.

Dennis
